Tommy was President and Founder of NetBank Payment Systems, Inc. (formerly Financial Technologies, Inc.). Tommy founded FTI in 1995 and oversaw its profitable growth for 8 years before selling to NetBank Inc., in December 2003. Under Tommy’s leadership, FTI became one of the largest ATM deployers in the US, featured in Inc. magazine in 2000 and again in 2001 as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the country. The Mississippi Business Journal similarly named FTI one of the Fastest Growing Companies in Mississippi in 1998, 2000, and 2002 and recognized Tommy as one of the state’s most outstanding businessmen under the age of forty. Tommy subsequently oversaw the growth of NetBank Payment Systems (wholly owned subsidiary of NetBank Inc.) to the 2nd largest bank‐managed ATM network in the US.

Tommy holds a BA in Psychology from Mississippi State University and an MA in Counseling from Regent University.


Kim Anderson is CEO of Longitude Partners, Inc, a consultancy specializing in corporate and business development for payments and fintech firms serving the underbank markets. As CEO of CL Verify, LLC Kim’s leadership delivered sector-leading growth and improved shareholder value nearly 50% over just two years. Previously, Kim guided global strategy for the prepaid & money transfer business of IDT and was a key member of the IPO team for eFunds in 2000 generating more than US$1.3 Billion in shareholder value. He remained as President for the Retail & Ecommerce Divisions following the IPO where he increased revenues & EBITDA by 20% for two consecutive years. During 15 years with Equifax, Kim led several groundbreaking strategic initiatives combining marketing, PII and payment data as well as driving significant growth through the national sales and marketing teams. Kim serves on the Boards of several firms and actively supports various philanthropic organizations. He holds a BS from CalPoly, San Luis Obispo, with postgraduate work at University of Southern California.


Dr. von Beringe (born December 8, 1951) is an Austrian national and holds a master degree in economics (Mag. Soc. Rer. Oec.). After graduating from Vienna University in 1982, he obtained his doctorate degree in economics in1985. Dr. von Beringe’s professional career took him from advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi via various positions in different countries with S.C. Johnson, Colgate Palmolive and Johnson & Johnson to an executive management tenure with Gaggenau in Gaggenau/Germany – high end kitchen appliances – where he held the position of Speaker of the Management Board from 1993 to 1996. In 1996, Dr. von Beringe and Prof. Dr. Gerhard Armingerfounded SAF AG. Since 1999 he is a member of the company’s Board of Directors as Chief Executive Officer of SAF AG. Since 2004 he additionally has been President of the Board of Directors. Since Dr. von Beringe sold his SAF shares to SAP AG he continues to serves as President of the Supervisory Board of SAF.



Al has over 30 years experience as a CFO and COO in manufacturing and financial services companies. Al  helped start several organizations from ground up and has led these and other emerging companies through rapid growth, equity and debt financing and their eventual sale to larger entities. He was Managing Director of McLane Financial Services, a subsidiary of Wal-Mart; CFO of CashWorks/GE Capital; VP Finance& Operations for Impact Innovations and CFO of WorldVentures. Al is a CPA and earned a BS from Illinois State University.


RUGGER BURKE, Legal Counsel
Rugger holds licenses in several states, including Texas and New York, and has been repeatedly named a “SuperLawyer” by Texas Monthly. In his 15 years of practice in the area of business and corporate law he has worked with a diverse range of publicly owned and privately held clients in almost every business sector. And, he has provided legal and business counseling to more than 100 startup companies from inception through sale. Further, Rugger has served both as a Master in Chancery as well as a receiver, having been appointed by the courts to take possession of and operate various businesses in a number of proceedings. He is also a trained mediator and arbitrator, and is licensed by FINRA (formerly the NASD) to serve as a public arbitrator in disputes relating to the securities industry.

Rugger attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics as well as a Juris Doctor. In addition to several published legal opinions, Rugger has most recently co-authored a survey of Texas law published in the 2008 SMU Law Review.
