Essentia's in-store charge card program is based on the needs of people who need assistance with everyday expenses in between pay periods.  We realize that sometimes things happen that put a strain on your personal finances and you are left with very few alternatives for how to purchase essential needs.  Before now your options included:

• Writing a check with non-sufficient funds in the bank in the hopes that the check wouldn't clear until after payday.
• Taking a payday loan advance until payday.

Both of these options prove to be very expensive and most of the time only serve to increase the financial strain.

Essentia's in-store charge card provides you a solution to help you solve problems now and not create additional problems in the future. All you need is a valid US bank account to get started.  Once your account has been verified you can begin using the card immediately.  You can make the purchases that you need and we will collect the funds from your bank account on a periodic date that you select.  

We will also give you anytime internet access to allow you to login and check your balance so you will always know how much you have spent using your card.
